STOP PRESS! - We had 2 GWPs entered at Crufts - both came home with First Prize cards and a second place too!

Sashal GWPs was established in 1995. We are very fortunate to have owned 4 bitches from the Bareve Kennel. Of these, the first two are CC and RCC winners, the third has become our first Show Champion (Nov 07) and then our first full 'CHAMPION' in Jan 08and our fourth at only 7mths old is already a multiple Championship first prize winner with Championship Best Puppy bitch and Best Puppy awards.

Our GWPs have been owner-handled to CCs, RCCs and BP awards at Championship shows along with numerous Championship stake placings. We have won RBIS, BOS, BPIS and RBPIS awards at the GWPC breed shows. Sashal is also the home of the FIRST Runner Up in a POTY year heat - Bareve Baloo for Sashal. Our dogs also work on the shoot each season and Sh Ch Bareve Bonnabee will be Field Trialled in 2008

Our dogs combine what we consider to be the best dual purpose lines in the UK - combinations of British, German, Dutch and American lines. We are committed to maintaining the GWP as a dual purpose gundog and continuing the ethos of excellent type, temperament and working ability as achieved through the excellent breeding of our dogs. Our dogs are hip scored and come from lines clear of vWD.

Our Cocker Spaniels are well bred parti colours of excellent temperament and have the typical merry cocker character. They are primarily our companions and therefore they have to have excellent temperaments

We breed occasionally - only 1 or 2 carefully planned litters each year. We sometimes have puppies available to approved homes. We only breed from typical bitches of excellent temperament and health. Our Cockers hold current clear eye certificates before breeding. Our breeding stock is FN Tested CLEAR.

Sashal puppies are well reared and handled, used to household noises and other dogs and are vet checked before they go to their new homes. They come with Petplan insurance, a puppy pack and lifetime breeder support. All potential puppy buyers are vetted as to their suitability so don't be offended! We want our dogs to go to homes were they will stay for life.

We are always on hand to offer our puppy owners help and advice. We will also offer advice to breed owners where we can and can help you find suitable puppies if we have none ourselves.
